It's a GIRL!!

It's taken me some time to get these ultrasounds scanned, but I finally did so now I can update you on all on what's been going on...Last Friday Matt and I went to find out the sex of our baby! Of course we could not wait the 17-20 weeks to find out, let alone 9+ months! So, we made an appointment at a "specialty" ultrasound facility to find out what we were having. I was told to eat something cold and sweet 30 minutes prior to our appointment to get the baby moving - which I did. When we got there, our baby had her little legs crossed and we couldn't get the "money" shot. Matt commented "Well, if it is a girl, she's doing the right thing and keeping her legs crossed" - ha! Now, I've had that "feeling" that we were having a girl and Matt had surrender to the fact that we were most likely having a baby girl. Of course we would be happy with either, just as long as the baby is healthy. After the baby decided to uncross her legs, we were able to get numerous diaper shots and confirmation that we were indeed having a baby girl. The ultrasound is a little hard to see but when it's a diaper shot of a boy, there is a line and then an arrow-type line above it and it's not very bright. With a girl, you'll notice that there is one line/spot and it's very bright. We compared our pictures with an entire book of other girl and boy ultrasounds because we weren't that convinced (although we had no idea what we were looking for). We are thrilled to be having a little girl and we can't wait to meet her!!! We have been thinking of names but we won't decide until we meet her...stay tuned!
