Tennessee

At the end of June, I had to go to Tennessee for work for 3 days - without Ashlyn!! Yes, I have been away from Ashlyn for 1 night, but this trip was sooo hard. I was dreading going as I wasn't sure how I was going to handle not being able to hold my baby girl, nurse her and just be with her. So, I sucked it up, got on the plane and away I went. Matt did a FANTASTIC job with her and juggling work and play. I knew he would, that's not what I was nervous about. I had a great time in Tennessee catching up with my counterparts. The conference was in downtown Nashville which is a great city. We hit up a couple of the big time "honky tonk" bars. I returned home around 7:30m Thursday night and Matt and Ashlyn were at the airport to pick me up. Ashlyn was so happy when I opened the door, it made my heart melt. She started kicking her legs and gave me a huge hug and lots of kisses. I'm glad I don't have to do that again for a long, long time!!
