Happy Halloween

Halloween this year was so much fun! On the Saturday before Halloween, we went to a birthday party with all of the the Stroller Strides crew and Ash dressed up as a Lady Bug. She loved running around with her wings and playing with her friends. She even got to indulge in a cupcake with Mommy and was very excited .


On Halloween, we met the Morrison's during the day at Baby Loves Disco which was sooo much fun for the girls! Since Ashlyn was dressing up that night, I had switched her costume for the day and she was a Butterfly Fairy. Auntie Lisa bought her an ADORABLE fairly dress up costume for her birthday equipped with a butterfly wand and all so that's what Ash was for her first 'club' experience. The girls had so much fun running around, dancing, and making music videos (well Ashlyn wasn't that into this activity but the idea was cute). Ashlyn loved watching Liliana get her face painted and of course she didn't want to miss out - so she got her hand painted too. The whole BLD idea was really cute - they had a real DJ playing hits we'd dance to, adult drinks for the parents, lots of organic snacks for the kids and lots of fun activities. Ashlyn LOVES to dance and she ran around for 2 hours dancing, checking everything out and playing with Lila. We headed home for her 3pm nap and then my parents came over. We had beef stew brewing in the crock pot all day so we all ate, and took our little lady bug out for her first Trick-or-treating experience. Of course she insisted on walking to all the house (rather than ride her in her car). We hit up about 4 houses and Ashlyn loves grabbing candy and putting it into her Elmo basket. It was such a fun day/night!
