Morning, Evening, All Day Sickness

I always wondered if I would have morning sickness when I got pregnant. So the first 5 weeks- no sickness, no food aversions, not tired. All my girlfriends who have kids or are pregnant warned me, just wait! So, week 6 came along and like clock work, so did the nauseousa and food aversions. My entire life I've loved meat- chicken, red meat, whatever. Now, meat is my worst enemy. I can barely even write about it, ha! So, needless to say I'm in dire need of some remedies and am trying everything under the sun: eating small meals (if I can even eat), taking my prenatals at night, sucking on mints, peppermint tea, sea bands....just to name few. I don't want you to think I'm complaining (well maybe a little). My doctor said that morning sickness means our little bean (our nickname for the baby right now) is thriving so I'm happy for that. Foods that I've been able to eat: quesadillas, mac & cheese, fruit, bagels, smoothies...that's about it for now. Matt has been great with me- totally understanding and compassionate. He even goes to the grocery store for me! So, over time I know this will pass but in the mean time, thrive baby thrive!
