Almost 6 Months Already?

I can't believe that Ashlyn is almost 6 months old! Time is just flying by (do I say this at each month's post?)...she is getting so big and has such a cute personality! She is almost sitting up and she wants to crawl so badly! She pushes herself with her arms and rocks back and forth. I look around our house and we are so not ready to have a crawler on our hands! We've already taken down our bar, and we are looking for a leather ottoman in place of our coffee table. We also will need to get a baby gate for our stairs. Ashlyn hasn't popped a tooth yet but she is definitely teething - she chews on everything and is a drooling machine. She also has been sleeping great! She always slept great at night but she had trouble taking naps without being rocked/nursed. About a month ago, we did some 'sleep training' which consisted of letting her cry for increments at a time. It's was brutal for us, but it worked. Now, we kiss her, say 'night, night' and she rolls on her tummy, sucks her thumb, gets comfy and she's off to slumberland. She still occasionally cries but only for a few minutes. Her naps aren't usually longer than an hour but occasionally she sleeps for about 1.5- 2 hours - not sure if this will stick but it's been happening more and more. Ashlyn is such an amazing little girl and we have so much fun with her! She is such a social butterfly and is so good at restaurants and pretty much anywhere we take her (and we take her everywhere with us). She is such a blessing and we just fall more and more in love with her everyday - if that's even possible!
