The Tilton Family: 4th of July

Fourth of July this year was a weekend jammed packed with fun events!!! Saturday our neighborhood had a fabulous block party with a bounce house that had a slide with a pool. There were tons of activities for the kids and everyone brought out food to share. The Reneaus, Mulcahys and Reeves came over and joined us too!! Ashlyn had a blast running around in her "badding-suit" and loved playing with all the neighborhood kids. She seemed like such a big girl running around from activity to activity. Cade did great and just chilled and watched all the action. When is started to get dark we all put our chairs out on the street and lit fireworks. Ashlyn sat on my lap and kept saying "oh, pwety fireworks mommy!" She loved them!! Then on the actual 4th, we here's over to the Reneuas for a pool day and BBQ. Bryn and Miss Harper joined us as well. The plan was free the BBQ to have everyone back at our house to watch fireworks. We got home, gave the kids a bath and put them to sleep at 8 (Ashlyn had stayed up until 9:30 the night before so she needed to go to bed at a decent time). Everyone was so tired from the weekends festivities that everyone called it a night-- so Matt and I went on out on our balcony ad watched 8 fireworks shows!! It was a great weekend all-around.
