Ashlyn is 4th Months Old!

I can't believe Ashlyn is already 4 months old! Time sure is flying by. Ashlyn is growing into such an amazing little girl. She is so personable and loves to be around people. She is so smiley, giggly and loves to snuggle! She is lifting up her head so well when on her tummy and is trying to so hard to roll over! She almost has it, it's just a matter of days. She loves to lay on a blanket and kick her legs like crazy. She also loves to put EVERYTHING in her mouth. I thought maybe she was pre-teething but her ped. told me it's just developmental and right now she has a major oral fixation. So, I just make sure that everything is sanitized and washed because I knew if Ashlyn grabs it, it's going straight to her mouth. We also have to change her like 3x a day because she's drooling so much. Ashlyn had her 4 mo. check-up yesterday and she's 'perfectly proportioned' - she's the 60th percentile for weight, length and head circumference. Ashlyn weighed exactly 14 pounds and is growing great! Since I'm exclusively breastfeeding, her ped suggested not introducing solids until 6 months. He wants us to start engaging her in meals and let her watch us -- he said that when she starts grabbing at food and trying to put it in her mouth, then we could consider solids. He recommended holding off becuase once she starts on solids, she won't nurse as much. So, we'll see how long she can hold off...
