I can't believe I turned 30 last month -- am I really 30? I still feel like I'm 21 (well not really but I definitely don't feel 30). But, I'm embarrassing it and have so much to be thankful for. On my actual birthday (which fell on Tuesday), Matt and I went out to a cute restaurant by our house Infusions for a nice dinner. My Mom watched Ashlyn so we kissed her nigh-night, and went to dinner. Then, over the weekend of the 19th, we went up to LA with a bunch of friends to really celebrate. This was the first night we had been away (over-night) from baby girl and I wasn't too sure how I was going to handle it. We stayed at the Roosevelt in LA and went to a club called Bardot where I literally danced the entire night. By 1am, I was so tucked out and ready to go to bed. Of course I woke up at 7am and wanted to leave to go and snuggle Ashlyn. So, we rounded up the troops (our friends Ashley and Glen) and headed home. I could hardly take it in the card ride home because I was sooo anxious to get home to baby girl. Ashlyn did great at my parents house and slept through the night for them - our good little girl. :)
