Ashlyn (18 mos) and Cade (7 weeks) - Update

Cade is just about 7 weeks old and he is a DREAM baby!!!  He is so sweet and snuggly and I just want to hold him all day long.  Ashlyn has been great with him and has adjusted pretty well.  She's not totally into him since all he does is eat and sleep and occasionally cry.  When he does cry, she will just up to him, pat him and "shh, shh, shh baby".  It's really cute.  She also gives him a kiss every morning and every night - he loves her bubby.   Ashlyn will sometimes "tell" someone (mostly my Mom or Matt), to put "baby in swing" and then asks for you "hand pees".   I have adjusted to having two munchkins and have gotten into the swing of taking 2 out and about.  The hardest part is getting myself, Ashlyn and Cade ready to go out...just give me 2 hours and we're set! 

Here are some stats from the kids last doc appointment and some updates:

Ashlyn (18 mos):
25 lbs 15 oz (73 percentile)
33 1/2 inches (91 percentile) - she's soo tall!!  People are always guessing she's at least 2!
18 1/2 inches (60 percentile)
Update:
Anything Princess:  Ashy is REALLY into princesses right now and loves Ariel and Belle!  She has shirts, necklaces, shoes, DVD's, stickers, you pretty much name it, she has is in princess decor!  She plays with her princess figurines a lot and will sing to them, dance around with them, dresses them up, feed them - LOVE it!  She also loves the Disney music and EVERY time we're in the car she asks for "Ariel song mama peeees"!  She will not only belt it out but she knows MOST of the words.  It's so cute and I have to get it on video soon.
Talking: Ashlyn is talking up a storm and is combing words and just about making sentences now.  She tells me everything that she wants and needs.  It's very cute because if I'm doing something she will come up to me and say "mama" - look me straight in the eye and very sweetly tell me what she wants.  She's so serious and wants to me sure I know she means business.  She surprises me everyday with new words.  The other day she keep saying what I thought was "doors" and I had no clue what she meant until she grabbed the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs dvd cover and ran up to me and said "Mama - dooors - white and her doors" - oh, ha!!!!
Sweet Thing - Ashlyn is sooo sweet and loves to give people "Hugs and Kisses" and she loves to play games that have to do with kissing (are we in trouble already)?!?  She tells up to go to "seeep" and then she will kiss us and say "awake'!.  She does this almost every morning and we just love it!  She also loves when Matt and I kiss and she will push our heads to together and say "mommy, daddy kiss peees".  She's just so sweet. 
*I am planning on potty training Ashlyn before I go back to work -- she tells me every time she poops and she will occasionally pee in her potty -- I just need to commit and do it! 


Cades 2 week appointment: 
8 lbs (30 percentile)
21 1/14 inches (65 percentile)
14 1/2 head (40 percentile)
*his next appointment is next week at 2 months
Cade is a great sleeper and at night goes down between 8 and 9pm and will sleep until about 4am.  Then back to sleep until 7am - hopefully he keeps these good sleeping habits!
