Tilton Baby #2 on the way!

I am so excited to finally be able to post that we are expecting Tilton Baby #2 in mid-March!! I can't believe that my baby is about to turn one and I am once again prego! Our babes are going to be 18 months apart and I am so excited for all the fun, love and craziness that is about to come our way!

We found our on July 3rd and I really couldn't believe it at first. We weren't technically "trying" but we weren't not trying either. I was still nursing and had only had one period on June 1 so when July rolled around and no period, I wasn't sure if it was because I was still nursing, or could I possibly be pregnant? So, I thought before I went and had a few drinks on the 4th, I should probably take a prego test. I told Matt that I really didn't feel pregnant and with Ashlyn I sooo did (my boobs hurt right away). This time, I felt totally 'normal'. So, off I went to the store to get food for the 4th, and a prego test. I came home, took the test and just sat there, wondering 'what if'??? Then, I looked down and there it was -- a BIG + sign. I sure was pregnant! I started to cry - because I was sooo shocked and mentally wasn't prepared. Of course I was sooo excited, but a little bit in shock. Matt was jumping up and down and Ashlyn was looking at both of us like 'my parents are nuts!'

After it all set in, I cried even more because I was so happy at the thought of having another wondering baby. Ashlyn has been such an absolute joy in our lives that the thought of another Tilton baby/child, makes me so happy.

I am 12 weeks this week. I haven't been feeling too bad - not that tired, my boobs don't hurt (my doc said because I was still nursing), but food/eating hasn't been on my side. With Ashlyn I had a very bad aversion towards meat. This time around, I seem to have an aversion towards food in general. Obviously I know I have to eat (and if I don't I feel worse), so I've been eating whatever sounds good - which has mainly been cereal, cereal bars and cheese. I have been able to eat steak, which is good, but I really can't wait to get my appetite back.

We had our first trimester screenings and the ultrasound looked great! The little peanut already has arms, legs, 10 fingers and toes -- and the baby was already sucking it's thumb!! We got a great picture of it too (I will post once I scan them).

Yes, we are going to find out the sex again! I just can't wait - I know, I'm no fun! But now I definitely need to know because do we have to go and by a bunch of boy clothes, or are we almost all set with Ashlyn's old stuff? See, we have to find out (he, he)!

I also just told my work this week and I was very nervous! They were so supportive and excited which really alleviated a lot of stress for me. Now, all I need to do is focus on this growing little peanut inside, and the growing, exploring, bright little (almost one year)!
